Domestic SAP
SAP calculations are required at the design stage of a project to show compliance with Building Regulations, and at practical completion, to allow an Energy Performance Certificate to be issued for completed dwellings.
SAP calculations may also be required in order to support Building Regulations applications for existing dwellings – for example, when an extension is being added, or when a building undergoes a material change of use or material alteration. This may be particularly relevant where the extension is substantially glazed.
Hook Mason have an accredited On Construction Domestic Energy Assessor (OCDEA) who can undertake the production of SAP & EPC information for both new and existing dwellings.
