Architecture

Hook Mason is a multi-award winning practice that undertakes a diverse range of projects within a multitude of client sectors including; residential, commercial, ecclesiastical, retail, healthcare, leisure, education, industrial and defence.

Hook Mason work in close collaboration with their clients, consultants, engineers and other specialist consultants to bring each project to fruition. Individual projects are led by an experienced Director or Associate, who have all worked for major clients throughout their careers, with the support of a design team this allows them to take each new project from inception to completion with the assurance of quality throughout.

Heritage

Much of the Practice’s work involves the repair and creative reuse of traditional and historic buildings and is also responsible for the care of over 250 churches, within a number of different diocese.

The Practice is regularly consulted to advise on the conversion of redundant traditional buildings, such as barns for residential and other uses

Hook Mason is also responsible for the care of over 250 Churches within six separate Diocese throughout the west of England and Wales.

Planning

Hook Mason work closely with individuals, corporate clients, property developers, councils and other organisations across a range of sectors in order to explore the viability of development and alternative land use.

Hook Mason’s commercial work is wide ranging and encompasses the retail, leisure, office, health, education and hospitality sectors for both individual corporate clients and property developers.

Hook Mason also undertake a wide variety of community projects including schools, village halls and other public buildings, working closely with councils, community groups and other organisations.

Surveying

Hook Mason’s highly experienced staff regularly carry out a full range of surveying services across all sectors.

Hook Mason undertake building condition, measured building, topographic and planned maintenance surveys in addition to advising on party wall matters, CDM (health & safety) regulations and other related surveying services within the construction industry.

Project Management

Hook Mason’s experienced staff undertake a full architectural design and construction project management service which covers; light touches, re-models, re-sites, downsizes, roll-outs, fit-outs and refurbishments.
